One person plays pakhavaj on one Beatles recording. That is Mahapurush Misra, on 'The Inner Light', written and sung by Harrison, cut 12 January 1968, put out as the B-side of 'Lady Madonna'. The record is from 1968. 'The Inner Light' is one of the few with tabla, one of only three of their recordings like that.
