The people behind the records
George Martin, Geoff Emerick, Billy Preston and the rest of the studio crew now have proper credits and short bios, and every song page shows who produced and engineered it alongside who played what, right down to George Martin's piano on "In My Life". We also added a Surprise me button on the home page that drops you on a random song or tag.
How long is every song?
We added the running time for the whole catalogue, so you can line the songs up by length any time at all on the song lengths chart. Each instrument also got its own tidy page, from the sitar to the Mellotron.
Rebuilt pages for members, songwriters, albums and years
The pages for John, Paul, George and Ringo, plus every songwriter, album and year, now run on one song table you can filter by role (wrote, co-wrote, sang, played) and switch cover versions on or off, with charts that redraw as you go. We also added how long each song took to make, from a single day to multi-month, and opened up browsing by genre and influence.
