One Beatles recording has it, 'Penny Lane' from 1967. McCartney wrote and sang it, it was cut 29 December 1966, and it was put out as an A-side. It came out on the Magical Mystery Tour album, 17 February 1967. It comes ninth of the album's eleven tracks, it was a US number one, and a different version of it is on Anthology. Piccolo trumpet is on it too, on two of their recordings in all.
