Bill Black double bass
The upright bass Bill Black played on Elvis Presley's 'Heartbreak Hotel'. Linda McCartney bought it for Paul in the late 1970s, and he played it on the 1995 reunion single.

It was used on one recording, 'Real Love' from 1996. Lennon wrote and sang it, and it was put out as an A-side. It was a UK top ten and a different version of it is on Anthology. On 'Real Love' it is McCartney on the upright bass from Elvis's 'Heartbreak Hotel'. It has celesta on it, one of only three of their recordings that do.
