Three people play congas on six Beatles recordings. Ringo Starr plays congas on four of them, such as 'A Day in the Life' and 'Don't Pass Me By', ahead of John Lennon and Paul McCartney on one each. The Magical Mystery Tour album shows more of them than any other album for its length, two of the three across its eleven tracks. McCartney wrote four of the six that carry the congas, more than anyone else.
