It gathers fourteen recordings, made between 1962 and 1963. The earliest of them to be recorded was 'Love Me Do' and the last 'A Taste of Honey'. The lead vocals go John on four, Paul on three, George on two and Ringo on one. Of the fourteen, 'Please Please Me' has Hohner Echo Vamper on it, one of only two of their recordings that do.
