It is heard on twelve recordings, from 1963 to 1970, almost the length of their recording life. More of Abbey Road has it than any other album, four of its seventeen tracks. It first turns up on 'Please Please Me', cut 26 November 1962, and was last heard on 'I Me Mine'. 'And I Love Her' and 'Lady Madonna' have it too. It goes quiet after 1964 and comes back in 1968 for 'Lady Madonna'. Among them, 'Glass Onion' is one of two of their recordings with recorder.
