'A Hard Day's Night' opens the run and 'She Came in Through the Bathroom Window' closes it. It goes quiet after 1964 and comes back in 1967 for 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. Paul sings lead on eight of the thirteen, three for John, and the two of them together on two. All four of them take the lead on 'Carry That Weight'. McCartney wrote nine of the thirteen, among them 'The End' and 'Lady Madonna', 10% of his songs against 4% of Lennon's. Of the thirteen, 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' is one of two of their recordings with French horn solo.
