It is heard on ten recordings, across almost the whole of the band's recording life, 1963 to 1969. More of the Please Please Me album has it than any other album, two of its fourteen tracks. It starts with 'Chains' and ends with 'Octopus's Garden'. 'Do You Want to Know a Secret' and 'Thank You Girl' have it too. It leaves their records and returns, and no record from 1964 or 1966 has it. The lead vocals go George on four, Paul on three, John on one and Ringo on one. Of the ten, 'Bad Boy' carries Vox Continental as well, which only three of their recordings do.
