Nineteen recordings have it, across almost the whole of the band's recording life, 1963 to 1970. 'Twist and Shout' is the earliest, from 1963, and 'Across the Universe' the last, from 1970, with the Magical Mystery Tour album leaning on it hardest, four of its eleven tracks. It goes quiet after 1963 and comes back in 1966 for 'Yellow Submarine'. The lead vocals go John on five, Paul on five, George on one and Ringo on one. All four of them take the lead on 'Carry That Weight'. Three of them share it on 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)'. On 'All You Need Is Love': outro chorus sung by studio audience of guests. On 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)' it is Lennon, McCartney, Harrison on chorus.
