I've Just Seen a Face

1965 · Help!

“Fallin', yes, I am fallin'”

McCartney's country-and-western-flavoured love-at-first-sight rush, written at Jane Asher's family home and originally titled 'Auntie Gin's Theme'. The Help! deep cut became opening track on the US Rubber Soul, helping cast that LP as folk-rock.
