Rich harmony

Rich harmony is on 29 of their recordings, across almost the whole of the band's recording life, 1963 to 1969. Nothing before 'Till There Was You' has it, and nothing after 'Because', with Abbey Road leaning on it hardest, seven of its seventeen tracks. More of them come from 1967 on than from the first four years, nineteen against nine. The singing splits Paul on twelve, John on seven and George on three. All four of them take the lead on 'Carry That Weight'. Three of them share it on 'Because'. On 'If I Fell' it is 6 chord types, 13 unique chords. On 'The Word' it is 7 chord types, 10 unique chords.
